Yellowstone Trip '07

For Memorial Day weekend/my birthday we traveled to Yellowstone National Park (only a few hours from us now). Tammy, Bill & the kids came with. We had such a fun time seeing the beautiful scenery, camping, fishing, spotting wildlife, and of course the geysers/hot springs. This was definitely a "memorable trip"!! Thanks for an awesome birthday guys!

Right when we arrived, we saw an eagle perched in it's nest :)

We got to see lots of Bison, up close & personal ~ (These are not zoomed in!)



We saw some Bighorn sheep

They actually got pretty close ~ kinda cool :)

We did see a black bear, sleeping under a tree. He was a little far off though.

That's okay, Addie knows how to get her back ~ just kidding, of course - OUCH! ;)

We cheated on the second night, and decided to get a hotel room. Hey ~ it's my birthday, I can do what I want! ;) We discovered the hotel pool had a full-fledged waterslide, of all things! Let's just say, SO MUCH FUN! The kiddos had a blast (well, and some of us adults too).
