Girl's Night!

Finally ~ We've been talking about doing a girl's night forever & I always missed it :( But my good friends, Leah & Dani, planned a fun night about a week ago and we all got together. We hit Maddox for dinner & then goofed off the rest of the night. It was SO fun. I really needed it. Let's make it a tradition, what'd ya say?? Thanks guys!!

Just Random

Aren't they just CUTE!

(This was off my cell-phone) ~ Grandpa sharing his milk-shake with Bree. She loved it!

Cousin McKenna's 1st B-day!

We met up with Robyn & Richard for McKenna's first b-day party a few weeks ago. They had it at a gorgeous park in Sugarhouse. The weather was perfect and the kids had tons of fun playing on the playground and down by the lake (w/tons of geese!). M.K. seemed to be enjoying herself quite a bit as well.

Auntie Tammy & the birthday girl (such a cute hat!)

Dave & I (he got back from Florida that day & actually met us at the park ~ we were so happy to have him back!)

Ares I-X first launch!!!

Ares I-X Completes a Successful Flight Test
[NASA's Ares I-X test rocket lifted off Oct. 28, 2009, at 11:30 a.m. EDT from Kennedy Space Center in Florida for a two-minute powered flight. The flight test lasted about six minutes from its launch from the newly modified Launch Complex until splashdown of the rocket's booster stage nearly 150 miles downrange.]

[The 327-foot-tall Ares I-X test vehicle produced 2.6 million pounds of thrust to accelerate the rocket to nearly 3 g's and Mach 4.76, just shy of hypersonic speed. It capped its easterly flight at a suborbital altitude of 150,000 feet after the separation of its first stage, a four-segment solid rocket booster.]
(excerpts from NASA.gov)

**This is the Rocket Dave has been working on at ATK (the reason why he's gone to Florida so much). The round black sensors you see on the outside of the Rocket were designed by Dave himself and measure critical information on how the Rocket is performing. Pretty exciting! Below is a picture of him when it was still being assembled (in Florida).

The video was amazing ~ still can't believe he's working with this stuff!! Awesome!

Halloween '09!

Addie-cat at her best

Had to pack Bree-kitty in the Snuggli to go trick-or-treating

Back at the house Grandma cooked up some chili & bread. Mmmm!

Thanks to Mom & Dad for hosting Halloween this year! It was a blast and so nice to have somewhere to go while Dave was in Florida

Pre-Halloween

Dave carved pumpkins with Addie this year ~ I missed it cause I was at work ~ Bummer. But they had a good time & did a great job! They're such cute lil' posers. I might mention, ALL of these (except the large one) came from her pumpkin patch this year.

While at my sister's ~ I snapped a pic of her cool "Jack-o-lantern" in the window ~ she made with cardboard cut-out. Neat idea Brooke!
Jordan chased me outside & snuck in the picture such the jokester

Cute girls

Addie's buddies, Calista & Noni, were here a few weeks ago to make Halloween cookies together. They were so cute & Noni was such a little mom, keeping things in order. She's growing up so fast!! Addie asks for them every week now.

Mom & Dad Visit Oct. '09

My parents came to visit this October and we headed to the American West Heritage Ctr. in Logan for some fun Fall events. Farm animals, black-out mazes, lil' train ride, gourd lauchers, etc., etc. It was a lot of fun! Mom and Dad helped me make some yummy apple pies & Dad made his traditional caramel apples. Mmm mmm! He also brought out the dirt bikes, so the boys could take some much needed couple of rides. They made it up Inspiration Point one day. It was great having them!! Thanks for coming all the way out guys!

Mom, with all her animals (aww, the donkey is her favorite)
