Fun Prego Pics

My friend, Leah, has recently taken up photography, so we did a fun little prego photo shoot (I was about 7 months). It was a couple weeks ago now ~ so my belly has popped out quite a bit since. New Years '08

We missed the Riley Christmas this year, due to being in Florida ~ but were able to catch up with everyone for New Years at Mom & Dad's house. I actually didn't get a whole lot of pictures but here are a few.

Christmas 2008!

This Christmas was a little bit of a whirlwind for us. We got back from Florida & headed right down to my sister Brooke's house the next day. We ended up staying there a few days longer than expected, due to the snow storms ~ it just kept coming! But it was nice & warm inside and we enjoyed the company, for sure. Brooke's in-laws, the Jones', came and brought a lot of the food. It was great to catch up with them again, as well. We all took a shot at playing Rock Band while we were there. Pretty goofy for the most part ~ some of it was closer to "howling at the moon" ;) Lotsa fun though! Technically it was "our" year to travel to Colorado for Christmas but Mom & Dad decided to take the trek out here. It was a very nice & relaxing holiday. Thanks Brooke & Tim (and M&D for coming out!).

Brooke's silly gift from her hubbie, Tim ;) I had to post it though ~ to remember our girl's night out. Yes, Brooke, Mom & I made it to Twilight again ~ this time was a little better than having Dave heckle me the whole time! Good idea Brooke!

Trip to Florida

Dave was in Florida on business for most of the month of December ~ so, his last week there we decided to join him. What a trip! It was so nice, we didn't want to leave and come back to the arctic West. It was pretty funny listening to "let it snow" in summer-like weather. The majority of the trip ~ it was high 70s to 80 degrees. We got to stay in a condo RIGHT on the beach, eat fresh seafood overlooking the ocean, explore all the crazy wildlife & of course, head up to Disney World for a day. What a blast. I can honestly say "I LOVE Florida in December!" (And it was quite nice getting to see "Gee", or Dave, again ~ that's what Addie calls him).
